Position Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst with experience in cost-cutting strategies and product price estimation. This role involves analyzing market trends, assessing pricing data, and implementing strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, cost reduction, and pricing model development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  2. Cost Analysis & Reduction: Analyze current cost structures and work with procurement and production teams to identify and implement cost-cutting initiatives without compromising quality.
  3. Product Price Estimation: Use data-driven models to estimate the optimal price for new and existing products, factoring in production costs, market demand, competitor pricing, and overall profitability goals.
  4. Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions and recommend adjustments where necessary.
  5. Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and present data on pricing, sales performance, and market conditions to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Profit Margin Optimization: Continuously evaluate pricing strategies to ensure they are aligned with business objectives, focusing on improving profit margins while maintaining market share.
  7. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance departments to ensure pricing strategies align with broader company goals and market positioning.
  8. Scenario Analysis & Forecasting: Perform scenario analysis to predict the impact of pricing decisions on sales and profitability, and make recommendations based on findings.
  9. Discount & Promotional Strategies: Assist in developing and analyzing promotional pricing and discount programs to ensure they drive revenue while minimizing negative impact on profit margins.
  10. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all pricing strategies comply with legal and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate documentation of pricing decisions and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis, cost estimation, or financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing, retail, or product-focused industry.
  3. Proven experience in cost-cutting initiatives and pricing optimization.
  4. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) and financial modeling.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex pricing strategies to non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  1. Experience with pricing software or ERP systems.
  2. Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
